Sam Garcia Sr. (a beloved Husband, Dad, and Tata) passed away on April 17th, 2008, but his legacy lives on. We, his family, have created the Sam Garcia Scholarship Foundation to help students further their education by giving $1,000 scholarships to local high school students that are going to pursure a college education. We also give $100 scholarships to students at Eliseo C. Felix, Michael Anderson, Lattie Coor, and St. John Vianney schools to help them pay for things like books and sports fees.

100% of the proceeds raised in our golf tournament goes back to the community via these scholarships as well as support for other local non-profit agencies throughout the year in order to keep Sam Garcia Sr.'s belief that "the more we are Blessed, the more we have to give back."
